Helping Others

Water from Operation Blessing
Gifting with a sense of gratitude for others and what they are doing, rather than with a feeling of obligation, is very rewarding. Not only do we feel good while we are doing it, we also reap the karmic benefits of our actions; after all … what goes around does come back around!

For those of you who do not tithe 10% of your net income through the religious faith of your choice, we recommend considering a donation to a charity of your choice if you can. Of course there are many charities in need. Some include sheltering the homeless and other help for the underprivileged.

Our Charity of Choice:
Operation Blessing

Our charity of choice is Operation Blessing, and we invite you to join us with a donation of any size, large or small.

Professor Steve writing notes

Why it matters to me:

All my life I have been drawn to helping others. This desire has been passed down through the generations. As a firm believer that everything we do is reciprocal, I try to support others who help out as well. If enough of us pitch in and help out, the world will become a better place.

Donating to Operation Blessing

Disaster help in Japan and Haitti

What Operation Blessing does:

Every year, people around the world struggle to survive and thrive amid hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, fires, droughts, crop failures and more.
  • Recently Hurricane Sandy devistated the East Coast of the United States.
  • Last year in the United States alone there were 81 declared disasters that caused homelessness, hunger, and more.
  • The 2011 tsunami in Japan devastated miles of coastal villages and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
While many disasters last only a moment, their effects can be devastating.
Operation Blessing has been there to help out.

Why they do it:

Your generous donation allows them to help Break the Cycle of Poverty.

Operation Blessing is dedicated to alleviating human need and suffering in the United States and around the world through their five core programs:
  1. Providing disaster relief assistance such as hot food and clean water after hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes and more.
  2. Bringing clean water to villages in Latin America and Africa through deep water wells, cisterns and purification systems.
  3. Giving hunger relief to Americans and Africans in need through food banks, feeding programs and food security projects.
  4. Initiating community development programs in impoverished communities such as skills training and micro-enterprise loans.
  5. And through orphan care projects that offer nutrition, education, shelter and more to orphaned and vulnerable children.

You can be a part of the solution today!
